A Tulsa woman asks for change within the SNAP benefits program following skimming incident

TULSA, Okla. — A Tulsa woman is asking for help and a change within the SNAP benefits program after being hijacked within seconds.

Latice Tyler said it’s been nearly a week, and she still has no answers as to how she was scammed out of hundreds of dollars’ worth of food stamps from two transactions out of state within seconds of buying a pizza.

“It’s rough out here; groceries are high. I have to take something away or not pay for this, or bills, or anything,” said Tyler…
