Tulsa firefighters responded to a house fire Friday, June 27 near 3900 W 41st Street. The first engine on scene reported heavy fire in the front of the house, according to TFD Public Information Officer Andy Little.
Little said with fire spreading into the attic, firefighters searched the home and found a man and woman inside. Both were treated at the scene and transported, but Little said the male victim died, and the female was last reported in critical condition. The home was heavily damaged.
Little said firefighters prioritized search and rescue because of the time of the fire, 10:19 pm, and the likelihood of occupancy. He did not say if the home had a functional smoke alarm…
