The Tulsa County Jail is holding 150 inmates for possible deportation, according to a Public Information Officer for the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office.
Tulsa County participates in the 287g program that trains local authorities to determine citizenship status for anyone booked into jail.
Casey Roebuck, the PIO for TCSO, said the 150 inmates are people arrested for local crimes, “so they will remain in David L. Moss until their state or local charges are resolved, then they will be turned over to ICE.”…
