TULSA, OKLA. (KTUL) — A neighborhood in North Tulsa is at the center of concern for a resident with questions about abandoned barrels.
According to the United States Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) website, 109 barrels—67 of which contain substances the EPA classifies as having “characteristics of hazardous waste”—were found dumped near North Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Frankfort Avenue.
