OKLAHOMA CITY (KSWO) – Oklahoma is sending additional resources to Texas and New Mexico following floods in the both states.
According to the Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management (OEM) and Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt, the resources include a 10-person Support Team from OEM, the Oklahoma Office of Homeland Security, Oklahoma City Fire and Tulsa Police to New Mexico.
As for Texas, who was already receiving assistance from the state, officials say two additional Type III swift water rescue teams with Oklahoma Task Force 1 members from Tulsa and Oklahoma City are being deployed. They will join those already on scene in Texas…
