State leaders broke ground on Aug. 1 to start the project of welcoming the Chrysler Tower to the Mother Road. Lieutenant Governor Matt Pinnell said the tower is being refurbished and will be relocated to Route 66 in Bristow.
People like Tim Bush, a Bristow resident, called the 102-foot tower an Oklahoma icon.
“It’s been a great staple of the community we’ve all seen it for years and years,” said Bush.
