Tulsa Public Schools launches ‘One Team’ Ambassador program

TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa Public Schools launched the ‘One Team’ Ambassador program, a new initiative meant to forge deeper connections and promote student well-being by placing adult ambassadors at school sites.

“Everywhere I go, community members share how excited they are to support our students,” said TPS Superintendent Dr. Ebony Johnson. “I am thrilled to launch the ‘One Team’ effort for the new school year that will provide a simple, safe way for our students to be connected to caring adults while supporting their overall well-being and safety.”

Community members are invited and encouraged to apply and become an ambassador through an online process that matches them according to their interests, time commitment, and selected school and geographic location…
