When the lights come up at Cain’s Ballroom, they shine on more than just a performer — they illuminate a legacy. This September, Bartlesville native Aaron Ray Vaughan steps into that legacy for the first time.

Vaughan, an independent singer-songwriter with roots in Bartlesville and a heart tethered to his faith, will play Cain’s Ballroom on Sept. 6 for the first time — a milestone he calls “a bucket list moment.”

With the release of his new five-track EP titled “Outlaw Hymn,” Vaughan is staking a claim in Oklahoma’s ever-evolving red dirt music scene and doing it his way.
