A fireworks accident has left a family in Oklahoma mourning the loss of their young boy this week.
On Sept. 1, the Tulsa Police Department received a call about a fireworks accident. It occurred at around 5:30 p.m. local time. Unfortunately, a 13-year-old boy suffered fatal injuries while setting off fireworks.
The Tulsa Police Department said the 13-year-old boy was setting off “mortar-style fireworks” by the Sandy Park Apartments near 6300 W. 11th Pl. Apparently, the tube was facing his head when it ignited. The young boy was transported to a local hospital before he sadly passed away…
