Teen dirt bike rider accused of reckless driving and taunting officer, Tulsa police report

TULSA, OKLA. (KTUL) — A teen who was reportedly recklessly driving a dirt bike around downtown Tulsa was apprehended Wednesday night.

Tulsa Police report a 15-year-old was riding a dirt bike that had no tag and was not legal to operate on public roadways. When an officer tried to stop the bike, the teen made an inappropriate hand gesture and circled around the intersection, taunting officials, police report.

Tulsa Police’s helicopter was patrolling the area and trailed the rider as he fled to his house. Officers arrived at the location where the teen suspect pulled into his garage and closed the door. He then ran out of the back door…
