Oklahoma Weather Alert: Patchy Fog Reduces Visibility South of I-40 Through Sunday Morning

Tulsa, Okla. – Drivers across southeastern Oklahoma may face reduced visibility through Sunday morning as patchy fog settles in, especially south of Interstate 40. Morning commuters and overnight travelers are urged to use caution, as fog pockets could quickly lower visibility to under half a mile.

According to the National Weather Service in Tulsa, the greatest impacts are expected between midnight and 9 a.m. Sunday in areas stretching from McAlester through Durant and into southeastern counties. Travel hazards include sudden drops in visibility, particularly on rural highways and low-lying areas.
