TULSA, Okla. — The United States Marine Corps is celebrating a milestone in American history with its 250th Birthday Ball.
As a tribute to those who have served and continue to serve the U.S. Marine Corps, the 250th Birthday Ball will be held at the Renaissance Tulsa Hotel and Convention Center on Nov. 1 from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.
The U.S. Marine Corps said the event will include:
- Gala Dinner: Enjoy a culinary experience like no other as you dine in style.
- Special Guests: Expect appearances from distinguished members of the Marine Corps, veterans and other notable personalities.
- Live Entertainment: Enjoy performances from local entertainers that will surely make your evening unforgettable.
- Commemorative Ceremony: A special ceremony in honor of the 250th birthday of the US Marine Corps.
Major General John H, Admire, USMC (Ret.) will serve at the Guest of Honor. Admire is a Tulsa native, 1967 University of Oklahoma graduate, decorated Veteran of the Vietnam War and previously served as Commanding General of the 1st Marine Division. He retired in 1998 after 33 years of service…
