COWETA, Okla. — The City of Coweta is currently under a boil order as the city continues to make repairs to a damaged water main.
The city states that repairs are not moving along because no shut off valves are available to restrict flow in the lines meaning crews are working on active lines.
Since the water system is exposed to the environment, the city issued the boil order for all users of City of Coweta tap water. They advise residents to boil water for at least two minutes before using it. the order does not apply residents on a rural water system…
