TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa VFW Post 577 honored prisoners of war and those declared missing in action during a recognition ceremony on Friday.
“Today is our Prisoner of War, Missing In Action Remembrance Day,” said Tulsa VFW Post 577 Senior Vice Commander Adam Perkins. “It honors those prisoners of war and missing in action and their families’ sacrifices and also reminds those families that their loved ones are not forgotten.”
