The Oklahoma Highway Patrol cleared people and trash from the sides of state highways in Tulsa during a sweep of homeless camps, but some are fully repopulated, while others remain empty.
On Highway 75 north of downtown Tulsa, a two-mile stretch between railroad tracks and the highway was cleared of brush that hid campsites from public view, and they remain clear. However, more camps have popped up just across the tracks on the edges of private and public property.
