CREEK COUNTY, Okla. — Multiple fire departments, including the Olive Volunteer Fire Department, the Freedom Hill Fire Department and the Bristow Fire Department, worked together to contain and extinguish a gas line fire.
According to authorities, a homeowner called for help after accidentally hitting a gas line while digging in their yard near Highway 48 and West 141st Street South.
Firefighters responded to the area and contained the fire until an employee with the gas company was able to come out and turn the gas line off.
