Materia Studio opens in Tulsa with immersive glowing flower exhibit

Artist Tyler Thrasher is set to unveil a new studio and shop that blends art, science, and immersive experiences. The opening of Materia promises a unique sensory experience for visitors.

Opening Event

The studio will open its doors on Oct. 25 from 5 to 10 p.m. at 2421 East Admiral Blvd. Guests will encounter a blackout environment illuminated by UV floodlights and more than 4,000 glowing flowers.

Attendees can create their own glowing flower while supplies last, and enjoy local food, drinks, and offerings from nearly a dozen local vendors and artists.

Thrasher will also debut a new body of work during the event.
