SKIATOOK, Okla. — Skiatook Paws and Claws Animal Rescue (SPACAR) has paused the intake of any new dogs due to a lack of space.
The organization stated on social media, “We have seen a very dramatic decrease in adoptions in the last few months. We are used to at least one or two boarding dogs leaving every few weeks, and all of them have sat not moving for 8-12 weeks now. This opens up NO space for dogs in need.”
