As second longest government shutdown continues, Oklahoma food banks feel the strain

TULSA, OKLA (KTUL) — As the second-longest government shutdown in U.S. history continues, families across Green Country are feeling the impact, particularly when it comes to food security.

In Sapulpa, Caring Community Friends continues to serve Oklahomans facing socioeconomic challenges. Executive Director Dr. Camille Teale says times of uncertainty often lead to increased demand.
