BROKEN ARROW, Okla. — The Broken Arrow Fire Department responded to a house fire on Sunday evening.
BAFD said firefighters were called for a house fire near Houston Street and Olive Avenue just after 7 p.m. Firefighters saw heavy flames coming from the garage of the house when they arrived.
Firefighters began search and rescue and knocked down the flames.
All residents were able to evacuate the house safely. Firefighters were also able to find the family’s cat and bring it to safety.
BAFD said within 15 minutes of arrival, firefighters were able to get the fire under control and then extinguished…
