BIXBY, OKLAHOMA — A 31-year-old Oklahoma mother is facing child neglect charges after police say she accidentally smothered her 5-month-old son while sleeping on top of him after a night of heavy drinking.
The woman, identified as Sarah Jamison, allegedly drank a six-pack of Voodoo Ranger Juice Force beer and a shot of rum before falling asleep with her baby in bed on October 18.
Officers Find Infant Gray and Lifeless
According to a probable cause affidavit, officers arrived at Jamison’s home around 5:45 a.m. to find her baby gray, unresponsive, and not breathing.
