Food On The Move hosts second emergency food distribution amid SNAP benefit pause

TULSA, Okla. — Food On The Move is once again stepping up to help Tulsa families feeling the strain of the pause in SNAP benefits.

The nonprofit is hosting another emergency food distribution Wednesday at Tulsa Community College’s Northeast Campus, beginning at 11:30 a.m. and continuing until all bags are gone.

Last week, the organization handed out 450 bags of food during a drive-up event. But after seeing heavy traffic and long lines, this week’s event will be walk-up only to make it easier for guests to park and move through the line…
