SAND SPRINGS, Okla. – Discoveryland Ranch is opening its gates for its first Country Christmas Market, transforming 21 acres of the historic property into a festive destination filled with shopping, food, performances and family-friendly holiday activities.
Events Manager Jackie Jackson, who also serves as executive director for the Discovery Land Ranch Charitable Foundation, said the market marks a new chapter for the ranch after her son and daughter in law recently purchased the 103 acre property. Their long term vision is to develop the area into an entertainment district.
“So for two weekends in December you come out to the ranch and it’s like coming to a different world,” Jackson said.
