Feedback prompts changes in TPS $600 M bond plan, boosting safety and career funds

TULSA, OKLA (KTUL) — Tulsa Public Schools is moving forward with a $600 million bond proposal that could be on the ballot in April 2026.

District leaders say the bond would significantly transform transportation, classrooms, and student opportunities. The proposal includes a $200 million investment in career development, with plans to build hands-on learning labs simulating real workplaces, such as hospital settings and cosmetology studios.
