TULSA, Okla. — The Tulsa Police Department said it has received reports of drivers taking handicap parking spots from those who need them.
Officers have been patrolling high-traffic areas and will issue a citation if you are parked in a handicap space without a place card or hangtag permitting you to do so.
Police ask drivers to consider those who need the spots and avoid getting a ticket.
