U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots brings holiday cheer to Green Country families

TULSA, OKLA (KTUL) — The U.S. Marine Corps Reserve hosted its annual Toys for Tots event at the Broken Arrow Armed Forces Reserve Center, where families lined the streets to pick up Christmas gifts for their children.

The event, organized by Tulsa’s Marine Corps Reserve Unit, aimed to ensure every child receives a gift on Christmas morning.

Katherine Ronnow, director of marketing insight and community relations, emphasized the importance of the program, saying, “We don’t want a parent to feel like ‘hey do I buy a toy or do I put food on the table’ so we want to be that resource for them.”…
