Tulsa Police chief highlights crime drop, scam warnings ahead of holidays

TULSA, Okla. – Tulsa Police ChiefDennis Larsen says crime in the city continues to trend downward, marking the fourth consecutive year of declines. Violent crime is down about 8% compared to last year, a statistic Larsen attributes to community efforts and proactive policing.

“This is the 3rd or 4th year that we’ve gone down almost double digits,” Larsen said. “It’s a safer community this year than it was five years ago.”
