TULSA, Okla. – The City of Tulsa encourages people to recycle items atChristmas, while avoiding items that either can’t be recycled or jam up the machines that sort through the material.
American Waste Control processes recyclables left curbside by Tulsa residents, and those in several suburbs, including Broken Arrow, Jenks, Bixby, Glenpool and Coweta. Owasso and Sand Springs have more limited programs that deliver to the same place.
Robert Pickens, the Vice President of Recycling for AWC, said the company’s holiday recycling guide is a good reference to determine what’s good to go in the blue recycling carts.
