Dog rescue finds trailer stolen on Christmas Day

Memphis Street Animal Rescue in Broken Arrow is asking for help after the flatbed trailer the organization uses for its activities and thrift shop was stolen on Christmas Day.

Volunteers went to take the trash out Thursday and noticed the locked trailer was gone from behind their thrift shop near 81st Street and Elm Place. It had been a few days since the area had been checked so volunteers aren’t sure when the theft occurred.

“People will never cease to amaze. This was most surely NOT on our list of Christms surprises we asked for,” said Natalie Coe on Facebook Thursday. “Guess we are fundraising for a truck and a trailer now.”…
