Discovery Lab started an exciting new chapter in December as Paul Davis stepped in as the children’s museum’s new chief executive officer and executive director. But for Davis, the museum isn’t just a place he will lead – it’s a place that has already shaped years of memories with his family.
Davis has lived in Tulsa for 20 years. He first came to the city after college, following his now-wife, Julie. Today, the couple is raising their daughters, 11-year-old Mia and 8-year-old Olivia, who have been visiting Discovery Lab since they were toddlers – at that time, in Discovery Lab’s previous location near Owen Park.
“I am thrilled and honored to lead Discovery Lab into its next chapter,” Davis said. “Having experienced the museum’s magic as a parent, I know how special it is for Tulsa’s families.
