TULSA, Okla. —The first caravan traveling the length of historic Route 66 for the highway’s upcoming centennial passed through Green Country over the weekend.
The group is driving from Santa Monica to Chicago in vintage cars dating back to the 1930s.
They call it “The Drive Home,” an event organized by the American Automotive Trust. Participants are travelling the full stretch of Route 66 from Santa Monica before continuing on to Detroit for the Detroit Auto Show.
