A Tulsa woman has been arrested after police say she drove her car into a home in Sapulpa while her daughter slept in the next room.
Kira Tollett, 25, was arrested on Tuesday, January 6th, after police were called to a residence about a vehicle crashing into a house.
According to the arrest affidavit, when the police arrived on the scene, they found Tollett “kneeling in the roadway,” and several people standing in the front yard. Those in the yard said Tollett had “ran her car into their house.”
When Officer Hughes asked Tollett what happened, she replied simply, “Nothing.” When he pressed her on why she drove into the house, she stated, “It’s my f*cking kid, and he’s trying to take me to court and take my kid.”
Tollett’s 5-year-old daughter has been in the custody of her father for the last two years, according to the arrest affidavit. The father—who was not named—and the daughter are currently living with his parents. Other family members say that Tollett has had no contact with her daughter for over a year…
