SAPULPA, Okla. – Dewey Avenue in downtown Sapulpa is set to reopen Friday afternoon, marking the end of months of construction.
The reopening comes after a major infrastructure construction designed to replace old storm drains and water lines on Main Street while giving the historic downtown a fresh look. The completed project also clears the way for the return of large community events, including Sapulpa’s Christmas Chute and celebrations tied to the upcoming Route 66 Centennial.
