OKAY, Okla. — The Wagoner County Sheriff’s Office says it is investigating a stabbing incident in the Okay area of Wagoner County that happened on Tuesday at 11 a.m.
They say deputies responded to a reported stabbing near the Sports Center located near the 4700 block of OK-251A in Okay. When they arrvied, deputies located an adult male victim who had a stab wound to the neck. They say the victim was bleeding and looked disoriented. Emergency medical personnel arrived on scene to provide care. The victim was later airlifted to a Tulsa-area hospital for more treatment. His condition has not been released at this time.
During the investigation, deputies say they learned the incident stemmed from an altercation between the victim and another man. Witnesses say the victim entered a nearby store seeking help after being stabbed. Surveillance video showed the victim entering the store while bleeding and asking for help…
