Man impersonates trooper, uses flashing lights to try to stop woman, OHP says
STROUD, Okla. – Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a woman reported being followed by a man driving a Nissan Titan equipped with flashing lights while on the Turner Turnpike. Troopers say the vehicle had no official markings. When the woman did not exit her car, the man became frustrated and tried to open her door handle. She then picked up her phone, and the man drove away.
The suspect did not have a badge, uniform, or marked patrol vehicle. Troopers say they are actively and aggressively investigating and understand public caution, adding they will always prioritize public safety.
