Spartan College welcomes first cohort of Saudia Technic Trainees to strengthen global aviation maintenance workforce

Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology has welcomed an inaugural group of 40 students from Saudia Technic to its Tulsa, Oklahoma campus, marking a major step in a strategic partnership aimed at strengthening the global aviation maintenance workforce.

The cohort, which arrived on November 17, 2025, includes both male and female students and has officially begun training under Spartan’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Part 147 Aviation Maintenance Technology (AMT) programme. The initiative reflects a growing emphasis on international collaboration to address the worldwide shortage of certified aviation maintenance technicians.

Spartan College, founded in 1928 and headquartered in Tulsa, has a long-standing legacy of aviation education, having trained more than 100,000 pilots and technicians from the United States and over 40 countries.
