Tulsa house fire near Pine and Lewis displaces family

TULSA, Okla. – Tulsa Fire Department crews responded to a house fire just after 8 a.m. near East Pine Street and North Lewis Avenue.

The Tulsa Fire Department said Engine 16 was first on scene and reported a single-story home heavily involved in fire. According to 911 dispatchers, all residents were safely out of the home when crews arrived. Firefighters immediately began fire suppression while additional crews conducted a primary search and shut down utilities.

Firefighters completed a full search of the home to confirm no one was inside. The main fire was knocked down, and the scene was secure in about 13 minutes. Crews remained on scene performing overhaul operations to check for any hidden fire…
