Tulsa’s Route 66 Capital Cruise surpasses 1,000 driver registrations

TULSA, OKLA. (KTUL) — Tulsa’s Route 66 Capital Cruise has already seen over 1,000 drivers register for the upcoming event, set to be a highlight of the Route 66 Centennial celebration.

As of Feb. 9, a total of 1,023 drivers from 26 states have signed up for the parade, which aims to become the largest classic car parade in history with a goal of 3,000 cars.

The event will kick off on May 30, 2026, with cars rolling out from Tulsa’s Expo Square at 8 a.m…
