TULSA, OKLA. (KTUL) — A man was arrested after deputies reportedly caught him while stealing copper.
Tulsa County Deputies were on patrol near 1700 W Edison when they saw a vehicle parked on the side of the road. Officials stopped to help the driver, who was wearing work gloves and had about 100 feet of phone cables pulled down.
Deputies believe they caught 51-year-old William Reed in the act of stealing copper. The tools, including motorized saws, a ladder, and heavy straps, were found with Reed. Multiple sections of cut cable were also found in the bed of his truck…
