JENKS, OKLA. (KTUL) — Drivers and business owners in Downtown Jenks will soon get a firsthand look at what Main Street could feel like with fewer parking spaces.
Beginning early Friday, March 13, the City of Jenks will launch a 10-day trial run as part of its “Reimagine Main Street: Block by Block” initiative.
The effort stems from community input gathered during the Downtown Master Plan process, where residents expressed interest in alternative parking layouts — including parallel parking, fewer spaces, or removing parking from portions of Main Street altogether…
