Ascension St. John Transplant Center is the first transplant center in Oklahoma to partner with the Alliance for Paired Kidney Donation, or APKD.
When someone wants to give their friend or loved one a kidney, but they are not a match, the system goes to work to find another pair in a similar situation, until organ donors are matched with those in need.
