Local chef builds thriving catering business through Kitchen 66 initiative

TULSA, Okla. — What started as an idea in the kitchen is becoming a reality for local chefs through the Kitchen 66 Launch Program.

The program, created by the Lobeck Taylor Family Foundation, helps aspiring food entrepreneurs turn their passion into a business.

“Kitchen 66 is the heart of Mother Road Market, and we wouldn’t even have Mother Road Market if Kitchen 66 didn’t come before it,” said Katy Hall, Chief Communications Officer for the Lobeck Taylor Family Foundation. “It started as a way to break down barriers for people who have a recipe and want to make it a reality. SO, the Kitchen 66 Program offers a 16-week program that the trough and learn the business side of having a food business.”…
