Title issue could stop Sand Springs data center development

SAND SPRINGS, Okla. – A conservation group is suing to enforce a claim preventing development on property where Google plans to build a data center in Sand Springs.

Land Legacy has a conservation easement covering 270 of the larger 800+ acre development site’s perimeter, which Executive Director Michael Patton says clearly prevents any sort of industrial development, much less the large project envisioned that would require significant changes to the topography.
