Sand Springs data center “Project Spring” could generate $100 Million over 25 years

SAND SPRINGS — After Beale Infrastructure recently canceled Coweta’s data center project, KRMG spoke to Sand Springs City Manager Mike Carter about how the data center in Sand Springs was progressing.

“We’re kind of in a holding pattern right now, but we think that the litigation is not something that has a lot of merit to it. So, we’re eager for that to get done so the project can proceed,” Carter said.

Carter told KRMG the city is just waiting for the next step with “Project Spring” due to some of the litigation filed by those opposed to the data center. Carter says he is very optimistic the data center will proceed, and the city council’s decision to green-light the project will greatly benefit the citizens of Sand Springs by collecting $100 Million Dollars in a 25-year span…
