Complaints grow over auction signs appearing at intersections across Tulsa

TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa City Councilor Phil Lakin is encouraging people living throughout Tulsa to throw away a certain yard sign he said is officially litter.

Many people in Tulsa have noticed blue signs for an apparent auction of fine art and other top dollar items seized by the federal government.

The signs have shown up in busy intersections across town but they are not in the ground. Instead, these signs have been taped to utility poles, street lights, street signs, and stoplights.

Lakin said he called the number on the signs to let them know they were littering throughout the city with they way they deployed the signs and how many were put up throughout Tulsa…
