Tulsa-area abduction ended in Inola shooting, suspect dead

INOLA, Okla. – A 20-year-old man is dead after Rogers County authorities say he abducted his 17-year-old girlfriend in Tulsa, beat her and another person, then opened fire inside a vehicle in Inola.

Rogers County Sheriff Scott Walton said deputies were notified shortly before 4 a.m. about the incident, which he said began after some type of late-night party in Tulsa.

Walton said the 20-year-old forcefully took the teenage girl from the Tulsa area without her permission. During the incident, the girl sought help from a good Samaritan, who Walton said was also badly beaten…
