Car shows, wine tasting, fundraising: Father’s Day events held around Pacific Northwest

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Car shows, wine-tasting and fundraising events were held around the Pacific Northwest for Father’s Day on Sunday.

Over in Dayton, Oregon, the Durant Vineyards at Red Ridge Farm hosted a Father’s Day open house that included tasting of local beers, wines and barbecue. It’s all in the name of fundraising for the Fisher House Foundation, a nonprofit organization supporting military and veteran families.

And in Vancouver Mall in Washington, the official Clark County Fathers Day Car Show was held. The family-friendly event brought in hundreds of drivers. Organized by Orchard Cars and Coffee, the car show was a fundraiser to support the Clark County Food Bank, local school districts and nonprofit organizations for veterans.
