Haiden Deegan (2:08.222) posted the fastest time in the first qualification session for the Washougal (Wash.) National in Round 25 of the SuperMotocross Championship. His time held up for the fastest overall. Deegan was second-fastest in Q2, 1.4 seconds slower than Jett Lawrence.
Jett was fastest in the second session with a speed of 2:08.701 when track conditions were more akin to what riders will face during the race. That bettered his Q1 time, but he nonetheless slotted into third overall.
