PORTLAND, Ore. — Southbound Interstate 5 through Portland’s Rose Quarter is closed for a major construction project that could take up to five weeks.
The round-the-clock closure took effect at about 10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11. The Oregon Department of Transportation expects to reopen the highway as soon as crews complete the work, likely in early October.
