Mount Hood Food Truck Cobra Dogs to Open Portland Brick-and-Mortar

Many a Mount Hood snowboarder, skier, hiker or climber has come down from the slopes feeling depleted, only to see the red-and-yellow Cobra Dogs hot dog truck shining like a beacon in the Government Camp night.

And soon, Portlanders driving down Northeast Sandy Boulevard can feel the same way.

Cobra Dogs, a 21-year-old hot dog brand founded and owned by snowboarders, is opening its first brick-and-mortar location in November at 1642 NE Sandy Blvd. It will be a shared space with One Moto Cafe, previously known as See See Motorcycle coffee shop. The building is also home to Rip’s Co. Skateshop, meaning that the block is suddenly an action sports destination in town…
